At the Annual General Meeting held on 12 April 2024 at De Kam, elections for the new Committee took place. The following members were elected:

Committee members: Andy Fisk, Dennis Elslander, Konstantin Wöbking, Marie Rousseaux
In addition, the Chairman and Treasurer presented their reports and BLOC members discussed the budget for 2024.

In view of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, and in the interests of the health and safety of its cast, crew, musicians and audiences, Brussels Light Opera Company has decided to postpone its production of The Pirates of Penzance to 19th-22nd May 2022; and its performance at the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in the UK will now take place in August 2022.

Before we start putting together the cast and crew for "The Pirates of Penzance", we need to emphasise that the health and safety of all involved in this show is paramount. We would therefore like to draw your attention to the following precautionary measures that we will be putting into place.

Our heartfelt thanks goes to Helen Krabb for everything she has done for BLOC over the past years. It has been a pleasure to have her on the Committee.
In accordance with the government guidelines on COVID-19, all BLOC activities have ceased, up to and including 3rd April 2020. The Committee is constantly monitoring the situation, and will update you with any further information as soon as we receive it.
The AGM, planned for 26th March, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, 28th April at 19:00, subject to confirmation.
