BLOC Chorus wins award

At the 31st International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival held in Buxton, UK,
in August 2025, BLOC were the proud winners of the "Best Chorus" award
for their performance of "The Gondoliers" directed by Angela and Tony
Lowe.
This two-week annual Festival of Gilbert and Sullivan opera performances
and fringe events attracts thousands of visitors, including performers,
supporters, and G&S enthusiasts from around the world. Performances are
given by both professional and amateur groups alike at the prestigious 900-
seat Buxton Opera House.
